Summary

CVE-2024-1291 is a newly discovered vulnerability affecting the Brizy – Page Builder plugin for WordPress. This issue, which exists in all versions up to 2.4.40, allows authenticated attackers with contributor access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts. The vulnerability stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the Countdown URL parameter. As a result, any user who accesses an injected page will execute the malicious scripts, posing a significant security risk.
