Summary
CVE-2024-1218 is a vulnerability affecting the Contact Form builder with drag & drop plugin for WordPress, specifically Kali Forms. The issue lies in several REST endpoints where capability checks are inconsistent. This flaw allows authenticated attackers with contributor access or higher to gain unauthorized access and modify data, including forms and entries. This vulnerability puts sensitive information at risk and requires immediate attention and patching for all WordPress installations using the Kali Forms plugin, up to and including version 2.3.41.
