Summary

CVE-2024-1217: The WordPress plugin Kali Forms, specifically its Contact Form builder with drag & drop feature, has a vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers with subscriber access or higher to deactivate any active plugins. This issue arises due to a missing capability check on the await_plugin_deactivation function in all versions up to and including 2.3.41. This weakness grants attackers the ability to disrupt the functionality of essential plugins, potentially compromising the WordPress site.
