Summary
CVE-2024-1187 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting Munsoft Easy Outlook Express Recovery 2.0. The issue lies in the Registration Key Handler component, which processes input in an unsound manner. An attacker can manipulate this processing to trigger a denial of service. To exploit this vulnerability, an attacker requires local access. The exploit has been made public, increasing the risk of exploitation.
