CVE-2024-1172 is a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Essential Addons for Elementor WordPress plugin. The Accordion widget in versions up to 5.9.8 is the source of the issue, where insufficient sanitization and output escaping allow authenticated attackers with contributor-level or higher permissions to inject arbitrary web scripts.
