Summary

CVE-2024-1160 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Bold Page Builder plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in versions up to 4.8.0, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level permissions and above to inject malicious scripts into the Icon Link feature. Consequentially, these scripts will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The vulnerability arises from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping, enabling attackers to manipulate data and exploit the WordPress platform.
