Summary

CVE-2024-1157 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Bold Page Builder plugin for WordPress. It allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level permissions and above to inject malicious scripts into page buttons. The issue arises from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the plugin, enabling the execution of arbitrary web scripts whenever a user accesses an injected page. Versions up to and including 4.8.0 are at risk.
