Summary

CVE-2024-1140 is a newly identified vulnerability affecting Twister Antivirus v8.17. This issue arises due to an Out-of-bounds Read vulnerability, which can be triggered by manipulating the 0x801120B8 IOCTL code of the filmfd.sys driver. An attacker who successfully exploits this flaw could potentially read sensitive data outside of its intended bounds, posing a significant risk to system security.
