Summary

CVE-2024-11092 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the SVGPlus plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 1.1.0, stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping during REST API SVG file uploads. Authenticated attackers with Author-level access or higher can exploit this weakness to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. Upon accessing the SVG file, these scripts will execute, potentially leading to unintended actions or information disclosure.
