Summary
CVE-2024-1109 is a vulnerability affecting the Podlove Podcast Publisher plugin used in WordPress sites. The issue lies in the missing capability checks on the init_download() and init() functions, which are present in all versions up to 4.0.11. This oversight allows unauthenticated attackers to gain unauthorized access to the plugin's tracking data and podcast information, posing a significant risk to privacy and data security.
