Summary

CVE-2024-1074 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Beaver Builder plugin for WordPress, specifically versions up to and including 2.7.4.2. This issue arises due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the audio widget's 'link_url' parameter. Authenticated attackers with contributor access or higher can exploit this flaw to inject malicious web scripts into pages. These scripts will execute each time a user accesses the affected page, posing a significant security risk.
