Summary
CVE-2024-1044 is a vulnerability affecting the WooCommerce plugin for WordPress. The issue lies in the 'submit_review' function, where a capability check is missing. Consequently, unauthenticated attackers can manipulate customer reviews by submitting them with arbitrary email addresses, even if reviews are globally disabled.
