Summary

CVE-2024-1037 is a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the All-In-One Security (AIOS) - Security and Firewall plugin for WordPress. Versions up to and including 5.2.5 are susceptible to this issue. Attackers can exploit this vulnerability by injecting malicious code into the 'tab' parameter, which can result in the execution of arbitrary web scripts. This risk arises due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the plugin. Unauthenticated attackers can trick users into performing an action, such as clicking a link, to execute the malicious code.
