Summary

CVE-2024-1003 is a critical vulnerability affecting the Totolink N200RE 9.3.5u.6139_B20201216 firmware. The issue lies within the function setLanguageCfg of the /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi file, which is susceptible to a stack-based buffer overflow due to improper handling of the lang argument. This vulnerability can be exploited remotely, allowing attackers to execute arbitrary code. The exploit for this issue has been made public, increasing the risk of potential attacks. The identifier for this vulnerability is VDB-252272. Unfortunately, the vendor was notified about this disclosure but did not provide any response.
