Summary

CVE-2024-0957 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the WooCommerce PDF Invoices plugin for WordPress. Versions up to and including 4.4.1 are vulnerable. This issue stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the Customer Notes field. An attacker can exploit this by injecting arbitrary web scripts, which will execute whenever a user accesses an affected invoice for printing. Unauthenticated attackers can take advantage of this vulnerability to inject malicious code and potentially steal user data or take control of the affected site.
