Summary

CVE-2024-0859 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting the Affiliates Manager plugin for WordPress. The issue lies in the plugin's process_bulk_action function, present in ListAffiliatesTable.php. This vulnerability, occurring in all versions up to and including 2.9.34, allows unauthenticated attackers to execute Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attacks. Specifically, they can manipulate administrators into performing affiliate deletion actions via specially crafted links. The absence or incorrect implementation of nonce validation in the function enables this attack.
