Summary

CVE-2024-0842 is a Denial of Service vulnerability affecting the Backuply plugin for WordPress. Versions up to and including 1.2.5 are susceptible to this issue. The vulnerability stems from direct access to the backuply/restore_ins.php file, which allows unauthenticated attackers to flood the server with excessive requests. This can result in the server running out of resources, leading to a Denial of Service condition. WordPress users are advised to update to the latest version of Backuply to mitigate this risk.
