Summary

CVE-2024-0768 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery vulnerability affecting the Envo's Elementor Templates & Widgets for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress. Versions up to and including 1.4.4 are vulnerable due to insufficient nonce validation on the ajax_theme_activation function. Attackers can exploit this issue by tricking site administrators into clicking on malicious links, enabling them to activate arbitrary themes without proper authentication. This puts websites using the vulnerable plugin at risk for unauthorized theme changes and potential security breaches. Users are advised to update to the latest version of the plugin to mitigate this risk.
