CVE-2024-0698 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Easy!Appointments plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in versions up to 1.3.1, stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes in the plugin's shortcodes. Consequently, authenticated attackers with contributor-level permissions or higher can inject malicious web scripts. These scripts will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page, posing a significant security risk.
