Summary

CVE-2024-0660 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery vulnerability affecting the Formidable Forms plugin for WordPress, versions up to and including 6.7.2. Malicious actors can exploit this issue by forging requests to change form settings, potentially adding malicious JavaScript, without needing authentication. This is due to flawed nonce validation on the update_settings function, which leaves the system vulnerable to attacks. A site administrator must be tricked into performing an action like clicking a link for the attack to be successful.
