Summary
CVE-2024-0659 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Easy Digital Downloads – Sell Digital Files plugin for WordPress. Versions up to and including 3.2.6 are vulnerable to this issue. Attackers with shop manager-level access can exploit this flaw by injecting malicious scripts into the variable pricing option title. These scripts will be executed whenever a user accesses an affected page, posing a significant security risk. The vulnerability stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the plugin.
