Summary

CVE-2024-0593 is a vulnerability affecting the Simple Job Board plugin for WordPress. The issue lies in the insufficient authorization checking on the fetch_quick_job() function, which exists in all versions up to and including 2.10.8. As a consequence, unauthenticated attackers can exploit this weakness to gain access to arbitrary posts, which may contain sensitive information, including password-protected or private data. This vulnerability poses a significant risk as it allows unauthorized access to potentially sensitive information. WordPress users running affected versions of the Simple Job Board plugin are urged to update to the latest version as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
