Summary

CVE-2024-0572 is a newly disclosed critical vulnerability that affects the Totolink LR1200GB 9.1.0u.6619_B20230130 firmware. The issue lies in the function setOpModeCfg of the /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi file, which can be exploited through a stack-based buffer overflow caused by manipulating the pppoeUser argument. This vulnerability can be exploited remotely and the exploit has been made public. The identifier for this vulnerability is VDB-250788. Unfortunately, the vendor was not responsive to early disclosure efforts.
