Summary

CVE-2024-0514 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting the Royal Elementor Addons and Templates plugin for WordPress. The issue lies in the plugin's failure to properly validate nonces on the 'add_to_compare' function. Consequently, unauthenticated attackers can manipulate this vulnerability by crafting malicious requests, forcing site administrators to perform an action that adds items to user compare lists. Successful exploitation of this weakness could potentially lead to unauthorized modifications or unwanted functionality additions within WordPress sites using the affected plugin version (up to and including 1.3.87).
