Summary

CVE-2024-0511 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting the Royal Elementor Addons and Templates plugin for WordPress. Versions up to and including 1.3.87 are susceptible to this issue. The root cause is a missing or incorrect nonce validation on the wpr_update_form_action_meta function. As a result, unauthenticated attackers can manipulate metadata through forged requests, compelling administrators to execute these actions unwittingly, such as clicking on a malicious link. This vulnerability poses a significant risk to WordPress sites using the Royal Elementor Addons and Templates plugin and requires immediate attention for patching or upgrade.
