Summary
CVE-2024-0449 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability affecting the ArtiBot Free Chat Bot plugin for WordPress websites. The vulnerability, present in all versions up to 1.1.6, arises from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the admin settings. Authenticated attackers with administrator-level permissions can exploit this weakness to inject arbitrary web scripts that execute when a user accesses an injected page. This issue only impacts multi-site installations and installations where unfiltered_html has been disabled.
