Summary

CVE-2024-0386 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the weForms plugin for WordPress. Versions up to and including 1.6.21 are at risk, as they fail to properly sanitize and escape input from the 'Referer' HTTP header. This vulnerability allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages, which will execute when a user accesses an injected page.
