Summary

CVE-2024-0324 is a vulnerability affecting the User Profile Builder plugin for WordPress. The issue lies in the 'wppb_two_factor_authentication_settings_update' function, which lacks sufficient capability checks. This weakness enables unauthenticated attackers to modify the Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) settings for arbitrary user roles, potentially disabling or enabling 2FA functionality for the Premium version of the plugin. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to security breaches and unauthorized access to user accounts.
