Summary
CVE-2024-0296 is a newly disclosed critical vulnerability affecting the NTPSyncWithHost function in Totolink N200RE 9.3.5u.6139_B20201216. Manipulation of the host_time argument triggers os command injection, allowing remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands. The vulnerability, identified as VDB-249862, has been disclosed to the public and may be actively exploited. Despite early contact from the security community, the vendor has not responded or addressed the issue.
