Summary

CVE-2024-0295 is a critical vulnerability affecting Totolink LR1200GB's 9.1.0u.6619_B20230130 firmware. The issue lies within the function setWanCfg of the file /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi, where manipulation of the argument hostName enables os command injection. This vulnerability can be exploited remotely, allowing attackers to execute arbitrary commands. The exploit has been made public, increasing the risk of potential attacks. The identifier VDB-249861 was assigned to this vulnerability. Regrettably, the vendor was contacted regarding this disclosure but failed to respond.
