Summary

CVE-2024-0294 is a newly disclosed critical vulnerability affecting the Totolink LR1200GB 9.1.0u.6619_B20230130 firmware. The issue lies in the setUssd function of the file /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi, which results in os command injection. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by manipulating the ussd argument, potentially gaining control over the affected device. This exploit can be launched remotely, increasing the risk to organizations using this equipment. The identifier of this vulnerability is VDB-249860, and though the vendor was contacted, they have yet to respond or issue a patch.
