Summary
CVE-2024-0220 is a vulnerability affecting B&R Automation Studio Upgrade Service and B&R Technology Guarding. The issue lies in the insufficient cryptography used during communication with upgrade and licensing servers. An attacker present on the network can take advantage of this flaw to execute arbitrary code on targeted products or intercept sensitive data, posing a significant security risk.
