Summary

CVE-2024-0208 is a denial-of-service vulnerability affecting Wireshark versions 4.2.0, 4.0.0 to 4.0.11, and 3.6.0 to 3.6.19. Maliciously crafted packets or capture files can trigger a crash in the GVCP dissector, causing Wireshark to become unresponsive and preventing normal operation.
