Summary

CVE-2024-0079 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting the NVIDIA GPU Display Driver for both Windows and Linux systems. In the kernel mode layer, this flaw allows a user in a guest virtual machine to induce a NULL-pointer dereference in the host. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could potentially result in a denial-of-service (DoS) attack on the host system.
