Summary
CVE-2023-7114 is a vulnerability affecting Mattermost versions 2.10.0 and earlier. This issue allows an attacker to execute Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attacks against a server due to insufficient sanitization of deeplink paths. The vulnerability can potentially result in unauthorized actions being carried out on behalf of a user once they have visited a malicious website or clicked a specially crafted link. It is recommended that affected organizations upgrade to the latest version of Mattermost to mitigate this risk.
