Summary
CVE-2023-7015 is a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the File Manager Pro plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in all versions up to 8.3.4, stems from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping. An attacker can exploit this flaw by injecting arbitrary web scripts through the 'tb' parameter. Successful exploitation enables the attacker to execute malicious code in a user's browser, potentially leading to session hijacking, data theft, or other malicious activities. Unauthenticated attackers can take advantage of this vulnerability by tricking users into performing specific actions, such as clicking on a malicious link.
