Summary

CVE-2023-7008 is a newly identified vulnerability affecting systemd-resolved. This issue permits systemd-resolved to accept DNS records from DNSSEC-signed domains without verification of the signature. As a result, man-in-the-middle attacks or upstream DNS resolver manipulation become possible, potentially leading to DNS data alteration and subsequent security risks.
