Summary
CVE-2023-6985 is a vulnerability affecting the 10Web AI Assistant plugin for WordPress. The issue lies in the missing capability check on the install_plugin AJAX action, which exists in all versions up to 1.0.18. This flaw allows authenticated attackers with subscriber-level access or higher to install arbitrary plugins. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to further access and compromise of the affected site.
