CVE-2023-6984 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting the PowerPack Addons for Elementor plugin for WordPress. Versions up to and including 2.7.13 are susceptible to this issue. The root cause is the absence or incorrect implementation of nonce validation in the class-pp-admin-settings.php file, which is located in the powerpack-lite-for-elementor plugin. Consequently, unauthenticated attackers can exploit this flaw by deceiving site administrators into executing malicious actions, such as modification or resetting plugin settings, via a forged request.
