Summary

CVE-2023-6959 is a vulnerability affecting the Getwid – Gutenberg Blocks plugin for WordPress. This issue arises due to a missing capability check on the recaptcha_api_key_manage function, which is present in all versions up to 2.0.3. As a consequence, authenticated attackers with subscriber-level access or higher can manipulate the 'Recaptcha Site Key' and 'Recaptcha Secret Key' settings, allowing unauthorized modification of data. This vulnerability poses a significant risk to the security and integrity of WordPress sites using the Getwid plugin and should be addressed promptly by updating to the latest patched version.
