Summary
CVE-2023-6927 is a newly discovered vulnerability affecting Keycloak. This issue permits an attacker to intercept and steal authorization codes or tokens from clients by exploiting a wildcard in the JARM response mode "form_post.jwt." This vulnerability bypasses the security patch implemented to address CVE-2023-6134, posing a significant risk to organizations using Keycloak for authentication and authorization. An attacker can manipulate the wildcard to gain unauthorized access to protected resources and potentially launch further attacks. Organizations using Keycloak are advised to apply the latest patches and configurations to mitigate this threat.
