Summary
CVE-2023-6878 is a vulnerability affecting the Slick Social Share Buttons plugin for WordPress. This issue allows authenticated attackers, including those with subscriber-level permissions, to arbitrarily update site options due to a missing capability check on the 'dcssb_ajax_update' function. Versions up to and including 2.4.11 are susceptible to this vulnerability, potentially leading to unauthorized data modification.
