Summary

CVE-2023-6861 is a recently disclosed heap buffer overflow vulnerability affecting Firefox ESR versions below 115.6, Thunderbird versions below 115.6, and Firefox versions below 121. This issue lies in the `nsWindow::PickerOpen(void)` method, which becomes susceptible to buffer overflow attacks when Firefox is running in headless mode. This vulnerability poses a potential risk for attackers to execute arbitrary code and potentially gain unauthorized access to user data or take control of the affected system.
