Summary

CVE-2023-6858 is a heap buffer overflow vulnerability that affected Firefox ESR versions under 115.6, Thunderbird under 115.6, and Firefox versions under 121. The issue arose due to insufficient out-of-memory (OOM) handling in the `nsTextFragment` component. This vulnerability could be exploited by an attacker to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service, potentially leading to significant security risks.
