Summary

CVE-2023-6831 is a path traversal vulnerability affecting the GitHub repository mlflow version 2.9.1 and below. An attacker could exploit this issue by manipulating file requests to access unintended directories and potentially gain unauthorized access to sensitive information. The vulnerability occurs due to insufficient input validation for file paths, allowing '..' characters to navigate up the directory structure. Users are advised to update their mlflow installation to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
