Summary

CVE-2023-6801 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the RSS Aggregator plugin, version 4.3.2 and below, for WordPress. This issue stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the admin settings. Malicious actors with author-level permissions or higher can exploit this flaw to inject arbitrary web scripts. Upon accessing an injected page, the scripts will execute, posing a significant security risk.
