Summary

CVE-2023-6751 is a vulnerability affecting the Hostinger plugin for WordPress. This issue stems from a missing capability check on the function publish_website, which allows unauthenticated attackers to update plugin settings, including enabling and disabling maintenance mode. Versions of the plugin up to and including 1.9.7 are impacted, potentially putting websites using this plugin at risk. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability to gain unauthorized access and manipulate the plugin's settings, which could have severe consequences for website functionality and security.
