Summary

CVE-2023-6732 is a vulnerability affecting the Ultimate Maps plugin for WordPress before version 1.2.16. This issue arises due to insufficient sanitization and escaping of certain settings within the plugin. As a consequence, high privilege users, including admins, can execute Cross-Site Scripting attacks, bypassing the security setting that disallows unfiltered_HTML. This vulnerability poses a serious threat to WordPress sites running the affected plugin and necessitates an immediate update to the latest version.
