Summary

CVE-2023-6710 refers to a vulnerability discovered in Apache server's mod_proxy_cluster module. This issue enables a malicious user to inject a script into the 'alias' parameter of a URL, leading to a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) attack. By exploiting this vulnerability, an attacker can add a new virtual host and insert the script into the cluster-manager page, potentially gaining unauthorized access to sensitive information or taking control of user sessions.
