Summary

CVE-2023-6600 is a vulnerability affecting the OMGF | GDPR/DSGVO Compliant, Faster Google Fonts. Easy. plugin for WordPress. The issue lies in the lack of capability checks on the update_settings() function, which is hooked via admin_init. This weakness allows unauthenticated attackers to manipulate plugin settings, leading to Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks and potential directory deletion. Versions up to and including 5.7.9 are vulnerable. Notably, several patch attempts have been made, with version 5.7.10 being the most sufficiently updated to address this issue.
